We believe that it is not a trend. It is a necessity. Companies find it more and more difficult to gain and keep employees (not only those that are the best). One of the solutions to this issue is improving the employee experience.
Employee Experience (EX) is a product of an interaction between an employee and a company from the beginning till the end of cooperation.
According to Human Capital Trends 2019 created by Deloitte, it is one of the most important areas of HR.
According to Jacob Morgan, the author of The Employee Experience Advantage: How to Win the War for Talent by Giving Employees the Workspaces they Want, the Tools they need, and a Culture They Can Celebrate, employee experience covers three areas: culture of the organization, technology and broadly speaking work environment.
EX projects focus on analyzing current situation in, among others, these three crucial areas as well as answering questions of what employees think about the company, how do they work, what they like or dislike. Later on, developing and implementing solutions that you work on with them and which aim at improving their experience at work in a given place. Its goals is to build an organization that people want to work for and which attracts the best candidates.
Our own set of 53 cards – a great tool for creative workshops on improving employee experience. We created them based on the analysis of trends that influence the culture and organization of work.
